travel

I saw this photo on Pinterest several months ago and it’s quietly been poking at me to do it. I’m a firm believer in traveling and while I haven’t done the several months of learning about one culture, I’ve traveled more to different places for a short amount of time then someone my age probably can say they have. (Thanks Mom & Dad!)

Anyways back to the photo. I’ve worked at the same job since high school and even after I graduated college I went straight into working. Looking at photographers my age, photographing the world, I can’t help but be slightly jealous. I look at their images and I look at what I can produce and think, “I’m just as good as that.”
Why am I still in little Roswell.

There’s only been a couple times that my family has planned a trip within a month of going and those trips always seem to be the ones most talked about in telling stories later. Hardly any planning goes into it and life happens when you aren’t planning. I'm not sure how these world reknowned photographers get to travel the world by just taking photos but i know it's what i want to do. my camera is my vision and being able to capture such places of the world and the people that surround this culture is my dream.
