Tips for a Better Selfie

A week or so ago, I posted a poll onĀ Twitter asking what I should blog about and the topic that came in first was tips for a better selfie. Granted, I am not normally in front of the camera, but it only seemed fitting to do a video for this post. (Don't judge me on the video! I'm an awkward human being!)

I will put a few more tips after the video so make sure to scroll down!

Tips to remember.

  • Big window light to decrease unwanted shadows, wrinkles, acne.
  • Chin out and down to get rid of double chin.
  • Turn slightly to pull shoulder forward to slim yourself out.
  • Whatever is closest to the camera is what will be biggest.
  • Arch your back and lean forward to stretch yourself out.

My favorite app to edit my photos with is Picsplay! There's a free version but if you want more editing capabilities, there is also a full version you can purchase.

Let me know if you have any questions about posing for a better selfie in the comments and let's see your #selfies!!
