2017 Goals

This year I'm not attending the WPPI workshop as I've done for the past several years. After I go to the workshop, it's like I'm hitting a reset button on my creativity and expanding my vision for my business. Jan-March is a really slow time for me and when I'm not shooting as much, I start to fall into a slump with my business, creatively and financially. It's difficult having to stay on top of new programs coming out to what's big this year with my clients. Finding new and innovative ways to market my art is hard enough when i'm not booking as much.

So in 2017, is not so much as a end goal as it is just to stay creative. When I'm feeling down and like I'm not moving forward in my art, I'm going to push myself to find something new to shoot. Whether it's a new model, costume, makeup, location, even learning a new lighting setup. My mission is to push myself further then I've done before.

2017. Here we go!

Make sure to continue the blog circle with Lacie's January goals.
